Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a creative, inspired, and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to join our Digital team. The right candidate will have a love for all things storytelling and will own Good Pharma’s social media channels from end to end. This person will strategize, craft, curate, and schedule all content and creative, manage our content calendar, work collaboratively with our marketing team, build and maintain a cross-platform social strategy, analyze and report on performance, and own the blog.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

● Develop and own the social media strategy for all relevant social channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn

● Create and maintain an editorial calendar across all our social channels, telling seasonal stories throughout the year that are aligned to brand marketing campaigns and support digital growth initiatives

● Organize monthly meetings to review plans, share content ideas and blog topics, and solicit input on future opportunities from the Influencer/MarCom team. ● Manage day-to-day posting/scheduling on social media channels including interactive story posts; write compelling copy that maintains brand voice, create and curate visual content to support content pillars, product launches, brand campaigns, partnerships, and more.

● Work closely with the MarCom team to coordinate giveaways, story takeovers, curate influencer-based content, and more.

● Establish and lead social media community management; monitor and reply to inquiries received via social media (product questions, reviews, comments, mentions, etc.) and build community

● Collaborate with Good Pharma ambassadors and content creators; implement content development processes and guardrails

● Measure, analyze, and report cross-channel performance to the wider team and translate findings into actionable recommendations

● Monitor types of content to determine what our followers resonate with, in order to deliver best results

● Stay up-to-date with technology, tools, social trends and marketing strategies and apply that knowledge when relevant to increase the effectiveness of our social media program


● BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent on the job work experience

● 3+ years experience managing social marketing content and strategy. Experience in CPG / Food & Beverage desired.

● A strong storyteller, able to distill content into bite-sized social media captions and images.

● Experience with social operational tools for content management, publishing, and community management.

● Strong analytical skills for measuring/tracking success.

● Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.

● Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

● Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

● Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

● Photography, video, and graphic editing skills are preferred.

Pluses: ● Confident working with Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma and other visual and audio editing tools.

● Passion for pop-culture, health & wellness, food, and current affairs.
